José Sosa is back in the first team. The midfielder had to train with the U21 team after forcing a move to AC Milan by not participating during trainings with the A squad in the Austria camp. He is now back: he trained with the first team in Istanbul yesterday.

Sosa refused to train with the first team in the Austria camp, mentioning the political situation and terrorism in Turkey as his reasons. The club then dropped him out of the squad and made him train with the U21 team until he apologised for his behaviour. He has done that, was forgiven by the club (a statement was made on the club’s official website) and he started training with the first team yesterday again.

Other notes about yesterday’s training: Oğuzhan Özyakup injured himself after he fell on his shoulder. Gökhan Gönül didn’t join the team because of a bowel infection. Tolga Zengin started training with the team again after his injury.
