Medipol Başakşehir interested in Mustafa Pektemek

Turkish Süper Lig and Europa League contenders Medipol Başakşehir have confirmed their interest in Beşiktaş forward Mustafa Pektemek.

Başakşehir vice-president Mustafa Saral stated to Haber1903: “We have had a meeting with both the club and Mustafa Pektemek but we have not been able to move forward as we are waiting for the conditions to of all parties to make it possible for us to move forward. If it does, we are interested in loaning the player.”

Başakşehir likely want the Black Eagles to pay a portion of Mustafa’s wages. He is set to earn €1,5m in guaranteed wages this season, with a €100k raise the following two seasons until his contract expires at the end of the 2018/19 season.
