Champions Beşiktaş will open their 2016/17 Süper Lig campaign against newly promoted Alanyaspor at the Vodafone Arena tonight. The Black Eagles will be looking to start off their season on a positive note, wanting to establish a solid home reputation by continuing to build on their 3 vitories at their new stadium since the opening match last season against Bursaspor.

Several new faces have been added to the team already but we’ll largely see familiar faces tonight as only Adriano is expected in the starting lineup, with Gökhan Gönül still recovering from injury.

With the departure of Mario Gómez and José Sosa it is expected that both Cenk Tosun and Tolgay Arslan will be part of the starting lineup tonight.

Luiz Rhodolfo is back in training and even featured in several preseason friendly matches but is not yet fully matchfit following his ACL injury 8 months ago, he will likely be replaced in the starting lineup by Dusko Tosic who’ll be starting besides Marcelo.

Alanyaspor in turn will be making their Süper Lig debut and are tipped as one of the main favourites for relegation this season, a good result away at Vodafone Arena would get them off on a flying start. Beşiktaş will have to be on their guard for their enthusiasm and not underestimate them as they have several quality players such as Ismail Aissati, Candeias and Carlos Garcia.

Beşiktaş predicted XI:

Tolga Zengin; Andreas Beck – Marcelo Guedes – Dusko Tosic – Adriano Correia; Atiba Hutchinson – Tolgay Arslan – Oguzhan Özyakup; Olcay Şahan – Ricardo Quaresma – Cenk Tosun

Alanyaspor predicted XI:

Haydar Yilmaz; Erhan Kartal – Carlos Garcia – Abdoulaye Ba – Berkan Emir; Isaac Sackey – Deniz Vural – Emre Akbaba; Ismail Aissati – Candeias – Jonathan Ayité
