Di Marzio: Caner Erkin to Beşiktaş a “done deal”

Turkish international Caner Erkin has only been at Inter Milan since the start of the transfer window after joining them on a free transfer from Fenerbahçe following his contract having expired but it seems he’s already on the move again.

Caner Erkin had reached an agreement with Inter Milan several months ago as he was eligible to join them on a Bosman move with former Galatasaray coach Roberto Mancini being very keen on the offensive left-back. However Mancini was sacked and subsequently replaced by Frank De Boer a few weeks ago and the former Dutch international does not have any plans for the nearly 28-year old Turk.

Gianluca Di Marzio now reports that Caner joining Beşiktaş on a season long loan is a “done deal”, the Black Eagles also have the option to make his stay permanent for a set transfer fee of 2 million euros.
