Beşiktaş – Gaziantepspor post-match reactions

Updated: September 4, 2016

“There is no difference between our goalkeepers, we need to….”

Şenol Güneş: “This was a friendly game on paper. This was a game in which we wanted to see our tactical, physical and technical training on the pitch. The score isn’t important, but what we do is important. We do good things, but still make mistakes. We need to work on that. Even if we lost it wouldn’t be important. It was valuable to see our general situation and our new transfers. League games will be different, it is important to win there. We have the game against Karabukspor in front of us. All our players are valuable. There is no difference between our goalkeepers. We need to back up whoever steps on the pitch. Despite it being a friendly match, there were a lot of fans. This is a good thing. We have 24 players and have players from the youth academy that will come too. All our players are important to us.”

“Talisca and I started a good relationship”

Vincent Aboubakar: “This was an important goal to increase my confidence in my first game. I want to thank my teammates for everything. I’m in the adaptation stage and they help me a lot. I want to thank Talisca as well. He provided a great assist. This was a good start. We started a good relationship emotionally speaking. I try to understand and do what our coach tells me. I know we are on the right path. Together we are going to keep improving ourselves.”

“We always play for the win”

Anderson Talisca: “I’m very happy I helped my teammates. Even if it was a friendly match, victory is always Beşiktaş‘ goal. My adaptation period is going well. I am in very good unison with the team. Our coach helps us a lot with this as well. Like I said, we will always play for the win. Everyone gave me a warm welcome. We are now going to work hard and prepare for our next game.”

“We understand each other very well on the pitch”

Fabricio Ramírez: “I’m very happy and this victory made me very happy. I try to win the confidence of my teammates day by day. Like today, I will enjoy the chances on playing time I get. I work for this every day. Of course it was important for me to build a connection with the team, but the whole team needs to do this. We understand each other very well on the pitch. I believe we gave a good display today.”

“I hope I will get more chances”

Utku Yuvakuran: “This was my first game in the Vodafone Arena. I am very excited and I hope I will get more chances. When the fans chanted my name I got goosebumps. I want to thank all of them for being behind me. I hope I will defend this goal for many years.”
