Beşiktaş got a 1-1 draw away against Benfica in the first game of Champions League Group B. Here is what man of the match Anderson Talisca, who got the Black Eagles a point with a last-minute goal against his former club, had to say post-game:

“I don’t know why I had to leave”

“I didn’t feel like revenge, but like pride. They said that I left the club for money, but this is a lie. I didn’t leave for the money. I knew I wasn’t going to stay in the team before the holidays. I don’t know the reason, I want to know it as well. Benfica depreciated me. When everything was going well, I got a goodbye message from the president.”
