Beşiktaş got a 1-1 draw away against Benfica in the first game of Champions League Group B. Here are the reactions from the Benfica camp:

“It was unlucky”

Head-coach Rui Vitoria: “A late goal is hard to take in. We faced the Turkish Champions, they have excellent players. A late goal doesn’t change my opinion. We couldn’t get 3 points here, we need to find them somewhere else. Talisca’s goal was an unfortunate moment for us. We were careful, controlling the match. It was unlucky.”

Eduardo Salvio: “The team is working well, we practically won the game. But this is the Champions League. We need to improve on details.”

Franco Cervi: “We came very close to winning. We’re left with a bitter taste but we need to keep working.”

André Horta: “We played a good game. Talisca’s free kick was very good, but we weren’t expecting them to score that late. ”
