On matchday 2 of the UEFA Youth League the Black Eagles’ Under 19s took on Dynamo Kyiv. The match ended in a somewhat disappointing 3-3 draw.

Beşiktaş started the match well and after just 3 minutes already took the lead: Muhammed Öztürk scored on a corner from captain Eslem Öztürk.

Midway through the second half Muhammed Öztürk turned provider after an excellent individual action in the box, Yusuf Can Abay finished off the attack and put Beşiktaş 2-0 up after 24 minutes.

Five minutes before halftime Muhammed Enes Durmuş rounded off an excellent run with a well taken goal: 3-0 after 40 minutes. Surely that sealed the match for the young Eagles?

And for about 15 minutes in the second half that didn’t look to change until Lednev finished a very good dribble sequence with a goal: 3-1 after 59 minutes.

7 minutes later the visitors again struck as Yanakov reduced the deficit to just one goal. In the 69th minute, again just 3 minutes later, Beşiktaş goalkeeper İbrahim Akıncı misjudged a Dynamo Kyiv free-kick and fumbled it in goal: 3-3.

After the equalizer the young Eagles cranked up the pressure once again in search for the winner. But despite several dangerous set-pieces for Eslem Öztürk, a 7th goal wasn’5 found in the remaining 20-odd minutes.
