Beşiktaş return to Vodafone Arena coming of a European nightmare in Kyiv and they’ll need to rebound back in the league without star player Ricardo Quaresma, who is on a yellow card suspension.

Vincent Aboubakar wants to respond on the pitch following the debacle in Kyiv.

The Black Eagles inaugurated their new stadium last season against Bursaspor and beat them 3-2. Bursaspor are on a more than decent run this season and close the top five in the league with 24 points from 13 games. With only 3 matches left in the first half of the season it’s key for the Black Eagles not to drop any more points in their last few games before going in tot he Winter break, having already drawn twice in their last two league games.

As previously mentioned Ricardo Quaresma is no eligible to play in this game following his yellow card suspension, which will see either Kerim Frei or Olcay Şahan an opportunity on the wings. Gökhan Gönül is expected to start at rightback following his impressive performance against Fenerbahçe, while Necip Uysal may get a start ahead of Tolgay Arslan in midfield.

Şenol Güneş keeps his confidence in Dusko Tosic, despite the Serb’s poor performance against Kyiv, and he’ll start next to Marcelo Guedes in the heart of defence. Both Atiba Hutchinson and Marcelo Guedes are one yellow card away from a suspension.

Bursaspor will have to do without former Beşiktaş captain Tomas Sivok, who has some injury troubles, he’ll be replaced by Ertuğrul Ersoy in defence.
