Samuel Eto’o rumours continue to increase

While the Samuel Eto’o to Beşiktaş rumours continue to circulate, Antalyaspor president Ali Şafak Öztürk said that they haven’t received an official offer from any club for the striker so far.

Earlier today a picture was posted online in which Samuel Eto’o was watching the Beşiktaş training and he reportedly waved his hand at the Besiktas staff and players. Antalayspor and Beşiktaş are staying at the same hotel during their January training camp.

Öztürk said: “We did have some minor meetings with Beşiktaş president Fikret Orman, but we didn’t receive an official offer yet. At the same time we are interested in Kerim Frei, Ömer Şişmanoğlu and Necip Uysal. It is normal that both teams do their training next to each other, but I don’t think he actually watched the training as he is training himself. It is pretty interesting that both teams are staying in the same hotel.”
