While Beşiktaş qualified for the Europa League by ending third in their Champions League group, Olympiakos were initially eliminated from the Champions League qualifeirs by none other than Beşiktaş’ previous Europa League opponent Hapoel Be’er Shéva. The Greek Champions continued to end second in their Europa League group, gathering 8 points against the likes of Young Boys Bern, APOEL Nicosia (group winners) and Astana.
The first leg will be played on 9th of March in Greece at 19:00, while the return leg will take place on the 16th of March at the Vodafone Arena, kicking off at 21:05.
