The Black Ealges had loaned Benfica’s Anderson Talisca last season with an optional one year extention, which they have now activated. Beşiktaş had already paid a loan fee of €2,5m last season and also had an option-to-buy for €22,5m.
An additional €2,5m will now be paid for the season long loan, but the buyout clause has been reduced by the same amount to €20m.
Benfica had bought Anderson Talisca for a total fee of €4m from the Brazilian club Bahia, by loaning him out to Beşiktaş for two seasons they’ve alraedy made a €1m profit on their investment. Although Talisca did cost them that €1m by scoring a last minute equalizer against them in the Champions League group stages at the Estadio de Luz where it ended 1-1, giving Benfica a bonus of just €500k (for a draw) instead of €1,5m (for a win).
