It’s no secret that Dynamo Kyiv and Croatia centre-back Domagoj Vida is high on the priority list for Beşiktaş, but with the departure of Rhodolfo and pending transfer of Marcelo the Black Eagles are looking to add more than just one defender.
In fact Beşiktaş were already contemplating on bringing in two new central defenders before an offer for Marcelo was ever made. With Lyon’s offer being likely too good to refuse, Beşiktaş have turned their sights to Kasimpaşa defender Cristian Chagas Tarouco “Titi”.
The Black Eagles are no strangers to Titi as they were already scouting him while the Brazilian was still active for Bahia before ever joining Kasimpaşa. With Titi being a free agent after refusing Kasimpaşa’s latest contract extention he has appeared back on the radar for Beşiktaş.
With two years of Süper Lig experience under his belt Titi is a very interesting option for Beşiktaş, who are rumoured to already have come to terms with the Brazilian according to BeIN sports Turkey, NTV Spor and several other reputable sources.
Regardless of the conclusion of Titi’s move, Beşiktaş will still prioritize signing Domagoj Vida but they need the funds which Marcelo’s pending transfer to Lyon will generate first before they can finalize a deal with Dynamo Kyiv.
