Our players had this to say after the match:

Ricardo Quaresma: “I am very happy. I have missed playing in the Beşiktaş jersey.  I am playing in a very good team and with a very good coach. I have now been with the team for a week. This has been a good match and good practice for us. I hope I can be in a good form as soon as possible and be of value to our team.”

Cenk Tosun: This was a nice match in which we grabbed our first victory. Our opponent played hard. We are going to be ready for the league. I hope we can play these good games in the league as well. I’m experiencing a good camp personally.”

Head coach Şenol Güneş had the following to say after the match: “We are still in our preparation stage so these matches are still preparations. We are not where we want to be right now, but we are making progress each day. Our opponent played a hard match, but fortunately we finished without any injuries. We are still working to become a team and to make our fans happy. We aren’t excluding any of our current players, we are going to be our best with the players we bought mixed with our current players. These players are going to compete with each other and the best will earn the right to play. The league is going to be tough.”
