Ben Arfa’s agent in Istanbul for Beşiktaş talks

Updated: March 3, 2016

While the Black Eagles continue their hunt for the title, the preparations for next season have also started. It is being reported that the agent of Hatem Ben Arfa has arrived in Istanbul at the request of Beşiktaş.

According to Haber1903, the manager of the French player visited the Nevzat Demir facilities of the club and was impressed. It is expected that the details of this transfer will become more clear in the upcoming days. Meanwhile it is also being reported that Real Madrid are interested in his services as well.

Ben Arfa is currently playing for Ligue 1 side OGC Nice and has only 4 more months remaining on his contract, meaning Beşiktaş can snatch him up for free. He can play on both wings as well as behind the striker and has scored 11 goals in 24 league appearances so far this season.

With the possible Summer departures of Gökhan Töre and José Sosa, Hatem Ben Arfa could be one of the new additions to the Black Eagles to strengthen the squad for next year’s title bid, the first full season in the Vodafone Arena and the new European adventure, hopefully in the UEFA Champions League.
