Matchday 26

Beşiktaş are celebrating their 113th anniversary on this date and have a scheduled match against Antalyaspor, who are currently on an 11th place in the standings.

With the opening of the new Vodafone Arena edging closer and closer each passing week, the Black Eagles are playing one of what should be their final few home games at the Başakşehir stadium, tickets have been sold out for several days for this matchday 26 confrontation with Antalyaspor.

Earlier this season the Black Eagles got an impressive victory during the inauguration match of the new Antalya arena, beating the hosts with harsh 5-1 numbers. With only 9 matches left int he season the Black Eagles will hoping to repeat that feat as they want to maintain their place at the top of the table and can not afford to drop points at this stage.

Captain Tolga Zengin is uncertain for tonight’s match after suffering an injury against Trabzonspor.

Coming off two back to back wins in the Black sea region against Rizespor and Trabzonspor, the Black Eagles are playing their first home game in two weeks and will want to extend their winning streak to four consecutive games in order to put pressure on rivals Fenerbahçe who will square off with Galatasaray tomorow at the Türk Telekom arena.

Beşiktaş are still without Gökhan Töre and goalkeeper Tolga Zengin is doutbful afte rhe got substituted at half time against Trabzonspor due to an injury, Tolga did train with the team the past two days however and might be in the starting eleven. If not, Denys Boyko is ready to step in and grab his chance for the jersey.

Apart from that the Black Eagles should be at full strength with no suspensions or further injuries apart from Rhodolfo’s long term injury of course.

Beşiktaş predicted XI:

Denys Boyko; Andreas Beck – Alexis Delgado – Marcelo Guedes – İsmail Köybaşı; Atiba Hutchinson – Oguzhan Özyakup – José Sosa; Ricardo Quaresma – Kerim Frei – Mario Gómez
