After beating Galatasaray in the derby this past Sunday and Fenerbahçe’s subsequent defeat at the hands of Medipol Başakşehir on Monday (2-1), Beşiktaş can become Champions this Sunday if they beat or draw against Osmanlıspor at the Vodafone Arena.

Mario Gómez scored his 25th league goal against Galatasaray, with two more matches to go can he level Feyyaz Uçar’s 28 goal record?

Earlier this season when these two sides met the Black Eagles came away with a flattering 2-3 away win thanks to a late goal from José Ernesto Sosa, in second half stoppage time. The Ankara club has had an excellent season and are currently in 4th place which grants them a ticket to the UEFA Europa League qualifiers.

Beşiktaş are currently six points clear at the top and need only one point from their final two matches, meaning they have a huge chance of winning the 2015-2016 league title this Sunday. Olcay Şahan will have to miss the game as he received his fourth yellow card of the season in the last game, apart from Olcay only Luiz Rhodolfo (injury) is not available for coach Şenol Güneş. Gökhan Töre will most like replace Olcay in the starting eleven, if not him then either Kerim Frei or perhaps Cenk Tosun. The rest of the team will, bar any last minute injuries, likely be the same as the team that beat Galatasaray.

Osmanlıspor will miss defender Numan Çürüksu due to a yellow card suspension after receiving his fourth yellow card of the season against Bursaspor this past weekend.

Despite Beşiktaş likely winning the league on Sunday, the championship cup will not be presented to the team if they secure the 2015-2016 championship. TFF president Yildirim Demirören cited that because it wasn’t yet mathematically sure that Beşiktaş would be champions, the trophy would not be present at the Vodafone Arena despite a point being enough for the Black Eagles. There has been talk of, if Beşiktaş wint he title on Sunday, playing the Konyaspor match at the Vodafone Arena instead of the Torku Konya Arena. But so far those have just been rumours.

Beşiktaş predicted XI (4-2-3-1):

Tolga Zengin; Andreas Beck – Dusko Tosic – Marcelo Guedes – İsmail Köybaşı; Atiba Hutchinson – Oğuzhan Özyakup – José Sosa; Ricardo Quaresma – Gökhan Töre (Cenk Tosun) – Mario Gómez

Osmanlıspor predicted XI (4-2-3-1):

Ahmet Şahin; Avdija Vrsajevic – Uğur Demirok – Lukasz Szukala – Tiago Pinto; Mehmet Güven – Musa Cağiran – Raheem Lawal (Papa Ndiaye); Dzon Delarge – Umar Aminu – Raúl Rusescu (Pierre Webó)
