Beşiktaş target Maciej Rybus has found a new club, he has today undergone a medical with Olympique Lyon prior to signing a 3 year contract.

The Polish international was linked with a move to the Black Eagles several weeks ago when he was offered to the ruling Turkish Champions. However Beşiktaş never acted seriously on acquiring the left winger turned leftback and he has now signed a 3 year deal with last season’s Ligue 1 runner-up.

Maciej Rybus joins Lyon on a free transfer as his contract with Russian side Terek Grozny has expired.

Rybus replaces another player who was linked with Beşiktaş in recent weeks at Lyon, Henri Bedimo who recently joined Olympique Marseille.

Beşiktaş are however still int he market for a leftback for the upcoming season, they’ve recently extended the contract of Ismail Köybaşi but want to add an additional leftback to their squad to defend their title and compete in the 2016/17 UEFA Champions League group stages.
