Updated: October 19, 2016

On the third matchday of the UEFA Youth League, Beşiktaş have drawn for the third consecutive time away against Napoli.

The young Eagles started the match well and took the lead halfway through the first half after sideback Alpay put the ball beyond goalkeeper Schaeper following a free-kick from captain Eslem Öztürk.

The hosts however equalized ten minutes before halftime through winger Russo, making it one all at halftime;

In the second half Yasin Sülün’s men went looking for the winning goal and seemingly got it when star player Muhammed Enes Durmuş got his second of the tournament, but five minutes before fulltime the Italians once again put the scores level through captain Liguori. The match finished 2-2, seeing Napoli to their first point and the Black Eagles to their third.

Dynamo Kyiv currently leads the standings with 7 points, followed by Benfica who have 4 points, Beşiktaş in third with 3 points and Napoli in fourth with 1 point.
